Grab Bag Christmas Gifts

My family loves to serve and give. Since I have so much fun in all the swaps I'm in and would love for the kids' to be able to have some fun too, we came up with Grab Bag Christmas Gifts. Each of us wrote down names of those in our lives we would like to bless and put all the names in a bag. Then we wrote down gifts we would like to give someone and put all those in a different bag. We then chose a name from one bag and a gift from the other bag! It was a really fun way to bless our loved ones and have fun doing it!!
This is a picture frame I made for a sweet lady in our congregation.

Here is an album for another wonderful lady in our congregation.

I made this card for another sweet lady.

We had so much fun! We didn't get as many sent out as we would have liked, so we may have to change things a bit next year, Lord willing!! We sent friends and family anything from a stocking filled with goodies to a bag of banana chips!! I hope they all liked them. :)
Merry Christmas everyone!

Grab Bag Swap Winter Tags

Hi everyone! We are definitely in the Christmas season now! I made some tags for the Grab Bag swap at CraftHappens.ning.com. We were supposed to make 5 tags with a winter theme. This is what I think of when I think of winter......

Vintage angel tag

This is the back of the vintage angel tag.

Two cutie penguins ice skating.

We love to make snowmen and find a Christmas tree in the winter.

We also love decorating gingerbread houses and making Christmas cookies!

We watch Charlie Brown movies at each holiday. I used an American Crafts white galaxy marker to write the letters on each tag. I bought it from Hobby Lobby.

Christmas Ornament and Card swap

This is the Christmas ornament and card that I made for my partner, Loretta, on myscraproom.ning.com.
The front of the card and the box I put the ornament in.

I used a plastic ornament bulb and placed a chipboard ornament inside it that I got from Gina's Design's at ginasdesigns.net. I embossed the ornament with pink and silver and used white flocking on the bird.
Just wanted to show you the inside of the card. I cut a slit in the fold of the card and ran the twine through it.

Vintage Glam Christmas ATC

Finished my first ATC's last night! These were for the Vintage Glam Christmas ATC swap on minialbumscraps.ning.com.

It's hard to see in this picture, but I used silver glitter glue around the edges of the flower. I used glossy accents for the NOEL letters.

I cut this tree out of cardstock and used Tim Holtz's peeled paint ink to get the color of green I wanted. I fussy cut the doves and put glossy accents over them to make them stand out.
This rose was made from pleated lace that I had at home. I mixed Tim Holtz's spun sugar ink with water and put the lace through the ink. After it dried I wound it into the rose shape and glued it to a piece of circle cardstock.

This tree was also made using Tim Holtz ink. I used the same white pleated lace with the silver alcohol ink. On top of this ATC is a snowflake cut out. I used white flocking the make them soft and give it some texture.
I used white stickles for the angel's wings. It turned out looking yellow because the wings were cream colored on the cardstock. Around the edges of the music sheet and ATC is Tim Holtz's vintage photo ink.

Christmas Tickets

Just finished my Christmas tickets! Fun fun!!

I added white flocking powder to the dove. I made the JOY out of green sparkle embossing powder.

Craft it Forward

I sent this out today for a special crafting friend. This was a craft I made for "Craft It Forward" on crafthappens.ning.com. It is just like paying it forward. Heather sent me a hanging plaque to alter and send on to give someone a smile for the day! I chose Thanksgiving as my theme and used three envelopes to make the pockets on the front. I put magnets inside to make sure it shuts tight. Hope she likes it! I uploaded the video on my youtube site: schoolinandscrappin if you would like to check it out. Be Blessed!

Itty Bitty Christmas Mini Album

I finished my first itty bitty mini. This little guy might look big in the pictures, but it is only 3"x4". It was a lot of fun to make! Please check out the video I made for this mini on my YT channel: schoolinandscrappin.
