I will try to come back and list all the copics used to color her. :) I used the Martha Stewart leaf punch and Die Namics mini rolled flowers to make the leaves and flowers. Not sure what happened to the picture, it looks like the card went on Weight Watchers or something. It looks skinny in the middle. Must have taken the picture at a different angle or something. Splish Splash

I thought Splish Splash was a good title for today. Not only is that part of this stamps name, but it is also what is happening outside! We had a soccer game last night and it poured on us the whole time. My children looked like little wet rats. The games lasted 2 hours and after about 40 minutes, yes you guess it, I wussed out and sat in the van. :) I love rain, but seriously!!! Anyway, today freezy cold rain or not, I am so SO excited to tell you I am on the Crafty Sentiments guest design team!!! I couldn't wait to dive in to their awesome stamps! So this week our challenge is Monochromatic. I haven't ever tried this yet, so it was a really good challenge for me. :) I used the stamp Primrose-Splish Splash! She is so cute! I chose to use the color blue throughout because water is blue and my grandma's hair is blue, naaaa just kidding! I used my copics to color her and my cricut to cut out the fun shape behind her. The ribbon is from JoAnn's and flowers are I Am Roses. I added some Dew Drops from Robin's Nest and some cheese cloth. I'm getting addicted to cheese cloth, I think. :) I hope you enjoy my card and please come over and join us in this fun challenge!

Thanks Sew Much

Hi all! Hope your week is going well! I am making some Thank You cards for several people who were so thoughtful and caring after my surgery. They brought me enough food so my hubby didn't have to cook for a whole week! (He's so lucky) It's funny because he's a Dietary Manager and knows how to cook at work, but somehow always sneaks out of cooking at home! LOL! I got these stamps free when I purchased the Cardmaking magazine. I never order magazines, so I was super excited to get something free in it! I was trying to go with a vintage feel. I used the Antiquity papers from Paper Studio. Stamped the images with StazOn.....grrrrr.....I forgot to use my Memento ink. When I went to color them with my copics it started smearing and turning my nibs black. I don't think it is noticible though. I cut the scallop edge with my Sizzix and the cirlce and plaque shapes with my Cricut. I machine sewed around all the edges. Added some lace and ruler trim to the bottom. I made a ribbon flower by sewing the pleated ribbon and dyed it with Tea Dye distress ink. Also, distressed around the images. Then finished by adding a couple of buttons, cheese cloth and pearls. I hope they enjoy their cards! I really enjoyed making them!

Friends Forever

I'm here again with a new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs! We have a great challenge theme this week, Feathers or Fur. We recieved free images from both our sponsors this week Delicious Doodles and Cedar Chest Designs! I chose the heartwarming image Friends Forever. I wanted this to be a view from a barn door. I used papers from Hobby Lobby, burlap, and jute twine to make the rope. I printed the sentiment from my computer and then distressed it and rolled it to make it look like an old western sign. I used brads to hold up my sign and rope. I colored this beautiful image with my copics. The boots were from a stash my grandma gave me. She used to make jewelry and loved the western style. I stained them with alcohol inks and then sandpapered them so the metal would show a little. I wrapped paper around the boots to make a "bandana".  I hope you enjoy this card and color up some cute little images with Feathers or Fur!

Gone Fishin'

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Today is a new challenge at Eureka Stamps! This weeks challenge is For the Boys. I used the sweet image Father and Son Bear with the sentiment Thank You Dad. These are such great images to use for a Father's Day card! I cut out the under water scene from my cricut and then paper pieced the water and boat. I then cut out the fish and colored them with my copics, as well as, the Father and Son Bear image. I used little brads to turn the sentiment into a plaque. Hope you enjoy my card this week and join us in the fun challenge For the Boys!

Rainy Day Dilly

What a super morning! We have had a week of pretty nice weather and I'm finally on the mend from my surgery last week! I was finally able to drive and get out yesterday and, of course, go shopping for card supplies!! :) Today is also super because it is another challenge at Delightful Challenges. This week's theme is Round Up. We would like to see a circular card or circles on your projects. I chose the image Rainy Day Dilly, which is so cute and has a rainy theme, which I love, so I couldn't resist! And is on sale right now! I also used the sentiment You Are My Rainbow from the Dream Sentiment set. I used my cricut to cut the shape of the card and punched out the grass. I colored Dilly and the Rainbow with clouds with my copics. Added some raindrops, red tool, and small flowers from I Am Roses. I printed off the sentiment and placed it inside a silver tag and added rinestones. I hope you have a Blessed week and join us in the new challenge!

Inside of card:

I colored the images with my copics, cut the picture frame out with the cricut, and printed the sentiment from Word. I used Distress ink to make the corner lines on the wall. It's a Boy!

Good morning! Hope everyone had a blessed weekend! I am so excited to be the Guest Designer this month at Eureka Stamps! I have already had so much fun playing around with their images! This week the challenge is Stripes or Circles. I used the cute image Baby Animals and the sentiment Little Boys. We have two friends that just had baby boys. I thought these images were absolutely perfect for making them the cutest cards! I used Nana's Nursery Baby Boy paper from DCWV. I cut out the shapes with my cricut using the Basic Font and Shapes cartridge. I added three eyelets and ribbon to the top sleeve. I then put two eyelets on bottom and tied it with ribbon. The bottom ribbon can be untied to open the card. Added three buttons with twine and sewn around the circle image. I used copics to color the image and blue chalk in the background.
